ABOUT

I believe becoming vegetarian or vegan is a journey. A lot of people want to change their food habits and adopt a more plant-based diet, but don't really know what to eat or what to cook. If you've been eating animals for years it is hard to change your habits & to get used to this new lifestyle. I think it all starts by loving the food you're eating!

Everyone can cook, and should! I'm a trained pastry chef, but I learned most of my recipes on YouTube. A bit of experience, the love for food, and the will to adopt a more plant based diet is what I'm trying to share on this blog. There are so many recipes on the internet today that it’s hard to know what is working and what is not, or even to understand the steps. It’s easy to be discouraged to cook when you see a recipe in a book or online that has so many different types of spices and oils, and you feel like you have to buy so much stuff to make a dish. My aim is to break down the recipes, by giving you some advice on how you can easily cook anything at home with what you have in hand.

I’m not a vegan yet, I still eat eggs and I'm trying to cut off cheese and dairy as much as I can, but it's specially hard in pastry where I'm still using a lot of butter. I find it hard sometimes not to eat meat when I'm invited somewhere or travelling and just having something on the go. But I'm trying, and cooking has helped me a lot, and I'm slowly getting there.

In this blog, I'll share the recipes I'm doing at home. So, if you love to cook, if you are just looking for some ideas on what to cook tonight, if you are trying to become a vegetarian, or if you are having people over for dinner and one of your friends is a vegan, here are some cool recipes for you to try!
